This little angel came to me at 6 weeks old. I was nervous because most babies this age tend to want to look around and be nosy. We got her to sleep and she just let me keep posing her. Have I mentioned how much I love photographing newborns?!
I had my 3 year old son come out and play with Miss R for a little while to get her loosened up and smile for the camera. She loved throwing balls at us and that’s how I managed to capture a few smiles out of her! She is a cutie!

I just love newborns. I love their smell, their feistiness, their ever need to eat. I remember when I had my first baby. I was so scared and didn’t know really what I was doing (as all new parents feel, I’m sure). Now, after having 2 babies of my own and handling newborns regularly, I feel like I really do know what I’m doing. Finally. I always love to have first-time parents in the studio. I get to relive that feeling of the baby ‘newness’ all over again.

Miss H returned for her 1 Year session. You may remember her from her newborn and 6 month sessions. She’s getting so big. She was a bit nervous with me at first, but she opened up and let me snap a few great pics.
