I absolutely love it when my best friend from high school makes the 2 hour drive to visit me. I feel all giddy again as we laugh like we did in high school over stupid stuff. Since we’re both parents now, we definitely stay in touch more than when we were both newly married. I think it also helped that we both broke down and have a texting plan on our phones now. haha!
