I have finally uploaded my 2010 Christmas Cards for previewing. You can preview in the slideshow below or view all details on my website. Please navigate to: http://www.nmoorephoto.com/main.html and select Portrait Galleries>Christmas Cards 2010. There are fronts and backs to each card as well as different sized cards. The majority are the most commonly ordered 5×7 flat card. To view more details about the cards, just select “Show Detail” at the bottom right corner and it will display the name and size of the card as well as the pricing.

2009 Christmas Cards & Maternity Leave

Yes, can you believe it? Christmas is just around the corner!! I’m officially going on maternity leave October 17th, barring any problems. So, this is definitely cutting into my busiest time of year. I’m usually chaotically busy with Christmas sessions and Christmas cards. I’ve only got a few Christmas sessions lined up between now and then, but can gladly add your family portrait to any of the Christmas cards I offer.

I thought I’d get these out there so you can see what cards are available this year. You can view the available cards by going to my main website. Click on ‘Portrait Galleries’ and ’2009 Christmas Cards’ are at the bottom of that list.

Baby on the way

If you are my friend on Facebook or follower on Twitter (NMoorePhoto), then you know that I’m pregnant… 16 weeks pregnant. I’ve finally emerged from the hell best described as the first trimester. I’ve finally gotten over the nausea and exhaustion and now have just become uncomfortable… Already. I am starting to cut back on my long hours and have started limiting my sessions per week. I have also started booking into July and August. If you are wanting to take family pictures this summer or fall, please call or email me to schedule your appointment as soon as possible. I am currently planning on shooting until the end of October. I’m due early November and plan to take some time off (at least 6 weeks) after that to take care of the little one. November, you say? Yes, that is usually my busiest time because of the holidays! I suggest scheduling early if you’d like to take holiday portraits…. especially those for Christmas cards!!!

Unless anything changes (like the doctor ordering bedrest), I plan to schedule into October for normal shoots. This does not count weddings as I’m no longer booking weddings for 2009. Family portraits can be rescheduled in case of an emergency… wedding portraits cannot.

And since no blog post is good without a picture… Here are several from my ultrasound taken on Friday.

Things are heating up! (or rather – cooling down)

Things are about to get super crazy for me! This marks the beginning of the holiday season… and that means CHRISTMAS CARDS! In case you haven’t found them, I do have holiday card examples on my website. They can be found here: http://www.nmoorephoto.com/08CardExamples/

This Sunday, I will be heading off to Tennessee to attend the NoBS Inferno Photography conference. I won’t be getting back into town until late Thursday evening. I’m sure I’m going to come back loaded with new ideas… and I’ll need them! I’m fully booked for the month of November!
