Megan and Geoff's wedding day was absolutely perfect! Who knew the weather could be so nice at the end of February? I enjoyed shooting this wedding and getting to know Megan & Geoff. You can tell that these two are so in love. It helps to take great pictures when you can see their love for each other! Congrats Megan and Geoff on your beautiful wedding day!

Justin & Stefany | Claremore Tulsa Wedding Photography

Justin & Stefany met at their groomsmen Keith’s birthday party. They proceeded to have a marshmallow fight. Justin proposed on Valentine’s Day 2010 on one knee. They both love each other’s sense of humor.

I have loved working with this couple from beginning to end! They were so fun to create images for and have made me love weddings in general. Everything about their special day was beautiful.

Ricky & Kendra | Tulsa/Claremore Wedding Photographer

Ricky and Kendra met after attending Campus Crusade for Christ at Rogers State University. It wasn’t long before the two were inseparable. Ricky proposed on 9/17/09. Ricky loves that Kendra’s tall and Kendra loves that Ricky is there when she needs him. They often eat and watch movies together. Kendra loves reading; Ricky playing the guitar, playing with computers, and video/audio editing. Kendra would describe Ricky as talkative and unique. Ricky exclaims that she’s beyond beautiful, talented, smart and loves him for him!

After meeting the couple, I’d say they are a perfect match. They make each other laugh (and me too). I loved getting to know them throughout their wedding planning process and then the wedding. Congratulations to you both!

Alisha & James | Wedding

Back in June I had a great opportunity to head to Missouri to second shoot for a good friend, Kara Guffey. I find that second shooting can be so fun! I truly enjoyed this wedding, despite it being so hot and humid outside! We somehow managed to dodge the rain that was hit and miss that day and it couldn’t have turned out any better. Congratulations!

Johnny & Chelsea Wedding

Photographing Johnny and Chelsea’s wedding was such a privilege for me. I actually went to high school with Johnny (he was a couple years younger than me). So, we had a bit of history by both going to a small-town school. I had a great time getting to know both Johnny and Chelsea more as well as photographing their beautiful wedding. They both met at the local bank where they worked (which is kind of funny, because I also worked there for a while).

They were married at the Pryor First Free Will Baptist Church and the reception followed at the Cherokee Casino. Congratulations on your wedding! I wish you both much happiness!

Jenna & Travis | wedding

Jenna and Travis had a beautiful wedding at the First Baptist Church in Pryor, OK. I adored her choices with EVERYTHING! They also had a great idea to get flowers from their neighbor’s flower garden. How thrifty is that? Plus, the arrangements were beautiful! I wish you two the best with your marriage and life to come. Congratulations!

Heidi & Kyle | wedding

I have had the best time getting to know Heidi and Kyle throughout their engagement and then while shooting their wedding in Pryor, OK. They are such a great couple. They were married at the Pryor Baptist Church and opted not to see each other before the wedding. This made for a tight timeline, but we got through it… wind and all! Congratulations both of you!

Kaci & Roger | Wedding

I met Roger back in junior high school… he was actually a grade younger than me. I heard he moved to California after high school, grew his hair long, and was living the life of a model. Then I get a phone call from him last year saying he was home and was getting married.

I was really nervous when I met them to talk about their wedding and to go over my contract details. I was certain they weren’t going to book me when they left my house. But, a few days later – Kaci called and said they wanted to book ASAP. The rest is history.

I’ve actually become really good friends with Kaci since meeting her on that day. I actually hired her to help me with my Boudoir sessions that I held this past January. She’s a hairstylist and also applied makeup for the girls. It was an investment to have her there!

Amber & James | Wedding

July was a very busy month for me! I have been busy working on wedding images and albums, as well as going on vacation. We actually rented an RV to take to Colorado. Can you believe it?! It was total chaos. Ryan loved it, so what can I say?!

My studio is also officially under construction. It should be ‘dried in’ by the end of the week. Then Daniel will take over and do the electric, plumbing, concrete staining, etc. I’m glad I have such a handyman that can do all these things for me! It saves a lot of money! Pictures will be posted soon of my studio progress!

A big thanks to Kara Guffey Photography for being able to come and second shoot with me. Photos taken by her are mentioned below.

On to the actual reason for posting! Amber and James had a very small wedding back in May. They are such a cute couple! I’m really happy for them!
